It looks like Hitman: Absolution isn't the only Hitman game currently in the works. The trademark above was  recently filed by Square Enix and shows "Hitman Profession" filed on December 22, 2011 (Fixed, thanks anonymous :). Does this mean it will be the next Hitman game?
