Tips for Cornering:
Don't use face buttons for gas and brake, as that can be a big problem for cornering. Try using the right analog stick. Up is gas, down is brake. This will allow you to be smoother with your inputs when cornering and not floor it every time. You can also hold the accelerator at a certain speed through turns. When entering corners, it's all about finding the breaking point. Look for the markers on the side of the road like trees, signs, and others to judge when to start breaking. Another good tip is to figure out what speed your car can take each corner without sliding too much or even spinning out.
