Here are some helpful beginner and advanced hints, tips and tricks for Jurassic World Evolution. (Updated 2/1/21)
  • Make sure your buildings have paths. Without paths, staff cannot reach those buildings, and therefore they will not be operational.
  • Facility rating is affected by restroom coverage. Place restrooms near guest buildings to satisfy their needs.
  • Check your finances regularly and try to maintain a good profit. Pay attention to your expenses as they will be deducted from your income.
  • Reach 4 stars or higher to unlock sandbox mode.
  • Larger dinosaurs eat more food, therefore sharing a feeder may result in some of them starving. Make sure you place multiple feeders to keep them well fed.
  • Once a dinosaur reaches 0 food and water, they will slowly lose health, starve / get dehydrated.
  • Try to go on regular food "resupply runs" with your ranger teams, so your dinosaurs are always well fed.
  • Ranger teams are vulnerable to attacks from dinosaurs. Drive carefully through the enclosures and use flares to distract the dinos! Damaged ranger teams can regenerate health back at the ranger station.
  • In order to use flares with ranger and ACU teams, you must first reach 3 stars on Isla Sorna in the campaign to unlock tranquilization darts for ranger teams and medical darts and cameras for ACU teams.
  • Damaged ranger teams will need to return to a ranger station to repair.
  • While not using a ranger team, the truck will drive back to the ranger station on its own.
  • In order to repair buildings, take control of a ranger team and drive it close to the damaged building.
  • In order to pick up a tranquilized dinosaur, first click transport then select a destination where to transport the dinosaur.
  • You can take pictures of your dinosaurs and earn money!
  • If a ranger station jeep gets stuck somewhere, try taking manual control and driving in reverse to get the vehicle unstuck.
  • In order to get a view of all dinosaurs in your park (including the ones you don't control), open the map and select the dinosaurs filter.
  • When releasing your dinosaurs, make sure you release them into fully closed enclosures so they don't escape.
  • The park tour gives guests the ability to view your park, binocular research will increase the view range of park tour vehicles.
  • Keep in mind too much damage to vehicles from dangerous dinosaurs will cause park tour to enter an shutdown and require a ranger team to open it once danger has passed.
